A Wedding in Napa Valley, California: shot strictly on film

One of the things that we are really passionate about is film photography and videography, and most importantly, bringing that back into the wedding industry. Film isn’t for everyone, and not everyone can do it, but it’s something we love to offer and we really love it when clients add it to their wedding day. In this case, Erin and Patrick had booked us for a ‘mixed-video’ (which is what we call our wedding films that included both digital and vintage footage, like super 8) and also 35mm film and polaroids.

Erin and Patrick had their special weekend held at a ranch in Napa Valley, near where they currently live, and where Erin used to work. The entire venue was spectacular—from the staff, the food, the espresso cart, and old-school camp cabins for their guests to stay in. Their family came from the East Coast to join them in celebrating, so the whole weekend was spent eating and drinking, hanging by the pool, and playing with their Great Dane, Valley.

It was such a joy to shoot so much film on this wedding weekend and it really helped propel our business into offering more full-day film wedding coverage. So, if you’re looking for the dream team that offers both film photography and videography for your day, look no further! We’d love to chat more with you, so go ahead and contact us here.
